I have a Packard Bell EasyNote MX52-B-701NCD AMD64 1,8GHz 4GB RAM 320GB
HD ATI Radeon Xpress1200 Atheros wifi laptop. Running Ubuntu 8.10 with
kernel linux 2.6.27-9-generic and Gnome 2.24.1.
It crashes when I try to recover from suspended state.
What happeneds is this:
I suspend the laptop (for whatever reason)
I wake it up by pressing enter.
The screes lights up with the black background and the password box appears
along with the mouse pointer.
Then everything freezes. No keyboard, no mouse.
I remember this happening on 8.04 LTS too, but i never got as far as the
password box.
BTW: Thank you for all the effort put into this magnificent OS :)
