You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Keyboard layout manager in Gnome has a button called "Print Layout
Diagram".
It is wrong to assume that a user will want to print his keyboard layout
on paper all the time. If the button is called "Print", the user may
think that his printer will immediately start to print it; what if he
just wants to check how to type a certain letter and is afraid of
wasting paper or toner?
Instead, this button should be called "Show Layout Diagram".
It is possible currently to show the diagram on screen by printing it to
a file and then opening the file. This is very confusing. It makes a lot
more sense to show it on screen by default and have an option to print
it.
