Hey!
I recently updated to 8.10 and now I'm not able to disable the sound which
plays after login.
If I disable it with System->Preferences->Audio (I think; I'm using the German
version) it will just be ignored. The sound plays on next login again, but
remains disabled in the settings.
Also I noticed that the sound previews (the play icons) in the same
setting dialog aren't working if the login sound is deactivated. I don't
know if this is in any way related to the bug above.
