I tried bringing up the properties window on a 3gp file in Nautilus and
it crashed, giving me a window with the following (no report bug
button):

"Nautilus cannot be used now, due to an unexpected error."

Show more details produces:

"Nautilus cannot be used now, due to an unexpected error from Bonobo
when attempting to locate the factory. Killing bonobo-activation-server
and restarting Nautilus may help fix the problem."

Obviously my desktop icons had disappeared. Running nautilus with ALT+F2
produces the same window. I opened System Monitor and ended bonobo-
activation-server, then started nautilus again. It brings back the
desktop and nautilus will run, until I try to open the properties on any
3gp file again. Other filetypes seem to be okay.

I'm not sure if it's related, but when I open the 3gp in mplayer (my
default program was switched when I upgraded), the sound plays and no
window appears (mplayer is seemingly running in the background), thus
the only way to stop it is to end the process through System Monitor.
When I open the same 3gp using "Gnome mplayer" a window appears, but
still no video. When I try to open in Totem ("Movie player") it never
opens, no window appears, and no process is active in System Monitor. I
am getting (some) thumbnails in nautilus, though I think they're cached
because folders I haven't looked at in awhile don't show the thumbnails.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
