Thanks for your patch. I've uploaded a slightly modified version (using "pass"
instead of "None") which fixes the issue:
gconf2 (2.13.5-0ubuntu4) dapper; urgency=low
.

- patch by Gabor Burjan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> slightly modified, fix the case
where there is no gconfd-2 running (Ubuntu: #33421)
