Hey,

Liked the design, but the idea of 'no dialogs' (placing all functionality into the UI) doesnt go well with the HIG of having basic features that most users needs and then dialogs for more advanced features. Vertical screen resolution is a major issue, which means we shouldnt cram everything in, or else users will constantly be opening and closing the content panels, which would be bad UX.

Hi all,

someone send me a proposal how the sidebar could be improved. I tried to
convince him from our awesome mailing list *g*, but he didn't want to join for
now. So here is the link to the mockup:

What's your impression?

All the best,

I am glad you like something :) I tried with those mailing lists long time
ago and I know how it works. In the best case they would ask you for
opinion that is why I ask you directly so I know my answer. To convince all
of them I would need time for one more life so this was only a nice try, I
think I will stop here.

If you want I set this on deviantart >

so you can ask users for opinion.
