Hi Tom, I think trying make this into a copyright issue is nonsense. For one, the cloud in LibreOffice was made to be used (by users of LibreOffice) – I would assume it is in the public domain. For the other Paint's cloud is not exactly the same image, although it is indeed similar. Next, the cloud may have originally come from MS Office's drawing tools, and the Openoffice people cloned it because they needed an equivalent, so they could interpret Office documents correctly. Lastly, I think the cloud is too trivial to qualify as a copyrightable work. (Ever notice the rationale why Wikipedia includes logo images? [1]) Astron.
