Christoph Läubrich created DERBY-7142:
-----------------------------------------

             Summary: Contribution code through gihub?
                 Key: DERBY-7142
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-7142
             Project: Derby
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Christoph Läubrich

Hi derby-dev's,

first of all sorry for askin more a question through ticket system by the derby
mailing list seems to be down (I always get timeouts when sending messages)

I'd like to contribute some code to derby and wonder if the github mirror is
suitable for this purpose?

according to the github ui it was updated last in 2019 but I see never releases
at maven central e.g.:

or do I need to use (but I can't see when it was last updated?):

or is there maybe even a completely other place an documentation is just
outdated? I tried the wiki and confluence pages but the mostly reference each
other and I can't get a clear view how to get the latest code.

Thanks in advance.
 Christoph
