Follow-up Comment #1:
This bug is most easily seen by creating a score with two staffs, putting a
very short note (e.g. 1/256th) in one and a long note in the other. The bar is
extended enormously. I've taken the knife to one of the most venerable and
long-standing bits of code in Denemo to fix this. The only side effect that I
have seen is rather closer spacing of some short notes, but please test and
report anything bad.
