Just downloaded denemo and opened a .pdf file for transcribing.
Admittedly one produced in denemo!

A user has reported seeing only the window on the taskbar but it won't

This is rather blocking the release now. (Oh, and apologies for the
build for windows breaking for a few days, it is now being built
successfully on Debian 11).
