Hi Richard,In this piece the number of beats per bar is variable, so I made it an unmeasured staff.
I now get a time signature of 256/1
I tried hiding the time signature (I assume that the U as below means that) on all 7 staffs (only 3 of which are printed as staffs) and there is no change.
I am obviously doing something wrong, but have no idea what!! Joe
