Yes. Best way is to reload denemo, and it disappears entirely.
I will watch for its re-appearance!!

I've not seen that, but it is typical of what happens when the
graphical library gets into a muddle with the widgets - do you have any
idea how to provoke it? I presume it disappears when you re-load your
score?
