In Windows you DO have to create a pdf for a part before printing it.
I don't know whether if you are clever enough (!) you can use Book
Titles and set up a pdf with score and individual parts in one pdf, and
then print that; I've never got my head around Boot Titles.

Which command are you using? I just tried "Print Part" and it went to the
Printer Dialog having typeset the part with the cursor in it. I imagine this
won't work on Windows where the print dialog always crashes (?) You would have
to choose "Part" in the Print View and the PDF ...
