Hi Steve I made this change because I thought it was safe to do so. I was wrong. :-) My build of Expect has Tcl 8.6 and 8.6 was released almost 8 years ago. 8.6 has a few features that would help us clean up some of the nastier code in DejaGnu (eg, exec has -ignorestderr).
I'm happy to go back to 8.5 if we really must. Cheers, Ben
