I was thinking of the objcopy trick. Didn't know gdb could do it as well! > Thanks for the new HOWTO! let me know if you ever get an urge to > rewrite that section of the DejaGnu manual. :-) > > - rob - Well, I'm far from definitive, and I presume I'd need to get an assign done for that, but I'm perfectly happy to contribute it in whatever form seems best. I'd be reluctant to actually *replace* anything already that is already there in the manual because I don't understand dg well enough to know if I was doing the right thing, and I'm fairly sure that what I've described there is a kludgey and roundabout way of doing it... But it works, and getting to grips with dg is hard for newbs, and providing them with a simple interface like this that lets them get the rest of the problem out into a more familiar domain makes it 'good enough' :) Jose, please drop a note back to the lists and let us know if these instructions were enough for you to get it to work or if I forgot anything! cheers, DaveK -- Can't think of a witty .sigline today.... _______________________________________________ DejaGnu mailing list DejaGnu@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/dejagnu
