Package: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics Version: 0.14.7~git20070517-2 Severity: wishlist
*** Please type your report below this line *** syndaemon's main loop is hard-coded to sleep for 20 milliseconds between polling. This causes a significant amount of 2 * 50 cpu wakeups per second (as seen on powertop). Since syndaemon is mainly useful with laptops, I would like to see this changed or (optimally) made configurable. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (400, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages xserver-xorg-input-synaptics depends on: ii libc6 2.7-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 1:1.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxi6 2:1.1.3-1 X11 Input extension library ii xserver-xorg-cor 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12lenny2 X.Org X server -- core server xserver-xorg-input-synaptics recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
