Hi ! I tried again yesterday evening and the commands below solved the issue : $ gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/compiz $ gconftool --set /apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins \ --type list --list-type string \ '[gconf,png,svg,decoration,wobbly,fade,minimize,cube,rotate,zoom,scale,move,place,switcher,screenshot,resize]' It might help if these commands where in the README.Debian file to easily reset compiz config with a default one.
