Unlikely. There are other variables between the two session types, e.g. the screen capture method used. Based on the logs in the bug description (especially if you're using OBS for screen capture), it could be https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/4251, fixed by https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/4577.
