Package: xkb-data Version: 2.26-2 Severity: normal I am using Buster with Gnome3 and a German keyboard. While the third level of the German de-keymap is accessible by the AltGr key, the same is not true for the keymap "Hebrew (Biblical, Tiro)". Here, the pressing of the AltGr key is simply ignored. An inspection of the corresponding file /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/il revealed that the aforementioned keymap lacks the statement
include "level3(ralt_switch)" unlike basically any other keymap I checked. Including this statement into the keymap made the third (and by extension, fourth) level accessible. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled -- no debconf information
