thanks Compiz-stable is very outdated in Debian. Upstream released version 0.8.8 last month 04/2011 (http://releases.compiz.org/0.8.8/) Compiz-stable is "suitable" to be packaged for unstable and then eventually makes its way to stable. Even compiz-unstable (0.9.x) is already outdated. Version 0.9.4 is already available (http://releases.compiz.org/0.9.4/) This one is suitable for experimental.
