I must say, i didn't check for a long time too. And as the time passed so did my Nvidia card. Now i don't have a card which works with this driver and i can't check if the issue is still there.
So the bug may still be there. But to clarify, all infos i gave on crashes in my first report are obsolete. The bug is only about minor visual glitches with cursor-themes (except xorg's black one). I suggest to close the bug until I get to check my electronic junk for some card to reproduce this. In case of success I would reopen the bug and open one if the same applies to nouveau.
