Hi Jonathan, as libsgutils2 is a dependency of devicekit, which I maintain, I have an interest in seeing sg3-utils properly maintained. I'm currently working on packaging the latest upstream version and cleaning up old cruft. Would you be interested in co-maintenance of this package? Would git/git-buildpackage be ok with you? If so I'd push my current work to collab-maint.
