We did indeed intend to package this but gave up after failing to get even the vanilla package up and running. It seems there are ongoing installation issues on the project's mailing list and unfortunately the vendor's .deb is unsuitable because it's basically a wrapper around easy_install. We also had many problems with security (such as CVE-2008-4990) and found that most of the interesting features are only available in the enterprise version(s) of the software. Maybe when upstream is more stable/secure we can revisit it but until then I'll close the ITP.
