It seems like coretemp has made its way to the kernel and can nowadays be found
in /drivers/hwmon/coretemp.c

URLs:

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=tree;f=drivers/hwmon

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=blob_plain;f=drivers/hwmon/coretemp.c

The request/wishlist remains regarding making coretemp into its own package so
one can just "apt-get install coretemp".

Kind Regards
Apachez
