This is the changelog for version 1.4 (2008-03-08):

- Timeout for whitelist entries has been increased to 3600 seconds per default
- Using the -q parameter, quiet mode will be enabled and mxallowd will only
  output errors
- Bugfix: Using configuration files works now even if you don't specify any
  other parameters
- mxallowd now uses libnetfilter-queue instead of libipq by default.
  libnetfilter-queue provides support for multiple queues but isn't widely
  deployed yet. The configure script automatically choses the best version
  available, for Debian users there is the packet mxallowd-ipq (necessary for
  Debian Sarge for example).
