Package: wnpp Severity: normal I request an adopter for the modconf package.
This program is a remnant of the old boot-floppies installer and will probably need a complete redesign and rewrite to remain useful. For neither I have the time, but I will happily share some of my thoughts about that with people interested. Note that there is a Alioth project "modconf" for this package which a new maintainer should take over as well (but maybe only to delete it, it is currently used only for the mailing list modconf-commits). The package description is: Modconf provides a terminal-based interface for installing and configuring device driver modules. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable'), (900, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
