I'm really interested to see w3af being packaged in debian, the only problem I see is that some of the dependencies of w3af aren't a debian package yet; I don't know how the debian distribution handles this situations.
On a related subject, I would like to see beta6 being packaged instead of beta5, so please wait a month or so until I release beta6 and then create the debian package. In the meantime we can talk about the dependencies, maybe package some of them, and make some tests with the SVN version that is available right now.
