Package: wnpp
Owner: Michelle Konzack <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Severity: wishlist
* Package name : tdmenu
Version : 0.2.0

Description : tdmenu offers a new menu-method for the menu package
and fvwm to beautify the nacked looking menus with
icons and sidebars in 33 languages currently.
I am using fvwm2 since 7 1/2 years and have beautified all of my menus
with sidebars and icons. Now I have considered to add icons and
localized Sidebars to the Debian-Menu-System. This was done by heavy
rewriting the default /etc/menu-methods/fvwm
I do not know, whether other WindowManagers support icons or sidebars
but it can added easily at request if I know, how the menus are working.
The soucre "tdmenu" create three type of binary packages.
1) tdmenu A meta package which install ALL
2) tdmenu-common Contain the "update-tdmenus" executable and
the icons and the default english sidebars.
3) tdmanu-<locale> Each package contain a language set since I
am sure no one like to install 39 MByte per
default.
Since I do not wat to do the job twice, the tanslations <locale> are
taken from the "menu" package (Attention: "ku" is incomplete)
With the release 0.2.0 "tdmenu" support following 33 languages:
ar be bg ca cs da de el en eo es eu fi fr gl he hr hu id
it ja ko ku lt nb ne nl nn pt ru sv tr zh_CN
Future releases (depends on my free time) will support the rest of the
languages like:
dz km pl pt_BR ro sk th tl uk vi wo zh_TW
Note for Mentors/Developers:
I am not able to create dz (Bhutan) and km (Khmer) since it seems
there is a bug in the fontpackages any hints what can I do?
And last not least, the package will reach version 1.0.0 if
all languages supported by the "menu" package are added.
Please note:
Some Languages need work since I have not a very big experience with
fonts and in some languages they look a little bit ugly. If you like
to see font changes in some <locale> please let me now, WITH the
appropriated Debian font package and the name of the desired font of
a size of arround 13-17 (14) pixels.
Last note:
The package version 0.2.0 is installed on Sarge, Etch and Sid
and works (currently) properly without any errors.

Hello,
This is an automatic mail sent to close the ITP you have reported or
are involved with.
Your ITP wnpp bug is being closed because of the following reasons:
- It is, as of today, older than 365 days.
- It hasn't had any activity recently.
As this is an automatic procedure, it could of course have something
wrong and probably it would be closing some bugs that are not
intended by owners and submitters (like you) to be closed, for
example if the ITP is still of your interest, or there has been
some kind of activity around it. In that case, please reopen the
bug, do it, DO IT NOW! (I don't want to be blamed because of
mass closing and not let people know that they can easily reopen
their bugs ;-).
To re-open it, you simply have to mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
with a body text like this:
reopen 400234
stop
Further comments on the work done in the bug sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] would be truly welcomed.
Anyway, if you have any kind of problems when dealing with
the BTS, feel free to contact me and I'd be more than happy to help
you on this: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
A similar process is being applied to other kind of wnpp bugs.
Thanks for your cooperation,
-- David Moreno Garza <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
