Hi Guys, Can i help at all here?
I'm already distributing my own builds of the viewer for Debian (AMD 64) at http://www.byteme.org.uk/secondlife-amd64/binary-packages.html and it seems a waste of my time to just keep doing that when i may be able to help here and help a lot more people at once. I also have the LLMozLib stuff cracked in my build (with an LLMozLib package required that depends on xulrunner) and i am running a couple of unofficial patches so we at least have sound but i can't see a problem distributing with that on as well. All i need to add is a wrapper makefile for source building the Debian way. >From version 1.18.4.0 onwards, we need to push for c-ares package as the Debian ares package is not compatible, there is already bug against ares for this :- Bug#359794 but perhapses we should just file an ITP for a new package? -- Dr Robin Cornelius Design Engineer Hirst Magnetic Instruments Ltd (UK Magnetics Society management committee member) Tel: +44 (0) 1326 372734 www.hirst-magnetics.com Fax: +44 (0) 1326 378069 www.gaussmeter.co.uk Tesla House, Tregoniggie Industrial Estate Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 4SN, U.K. Reg No: 1564814 England VAT Registered: GB730 0277 74 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
