Do you still intend to package irrlicht? If not, I'd would like to.

I have a partially-working package, but I haven't had time to contact
Nikolaus to see if he can:
* release the new version soon, containing all the bug fixes (last one
has some medium-level ones)
* release a .tar.gz package without all that windows stuff, and
possibly include the documentation directly as html instead of chm (so
I don't have to convert the cmh into html).
* fix the Makefile (using make clean in a clean directory will first
build the source and then clean it)
* Don't include the libpng/xlib/libjpeg source code (I already made
some patches so when compiling it uses the Debian ones)

If you have time you could co-maintain it
