Finding a good and well sounding package name is complicated business. I know that, we renamed most Schilling's cdrtools stuff and obviosly the best names are already taken. Not neccessarily by other Debian packages but also but other _and_ especially by commercial products which may have some stupid trademark behind them. Something like "swebmon" comes to my mind... but I doubt I have perfect feeling for good names. I am not sure about what is the main focus of your package. At the first glance it looks like a websec remake in Ruby. I would at least refer to websec in the package description. > BTW, if I rename (the software -> package -> binary...), do I need > to file a new ITP bug? I would just retitle the current one. See the BTS mail admin commands reference for details.
