Dear Rudi, I do not know what impact it can have on your packaging work, but there is another library which calls itself NEXUS (in fact, Nexus Class Library). http://hydrodictyon.eeb.uconn.edu/ncl/ Currently, it is not packaged but it is used by at least one package, from the orig.tar.gz.
