Actually, this reminds me: during debconf6 I asked for a piuparts project on alioth, but I forget what the name was (pkg-piuparts?) and what happened to it (not much, I suspect), and I have no idea what the procedure is for assigning ownership of the project to someone else. If I'm needed for the reassigning, tell me what to do.
