I notice that this hasn't had any action for a while and wonder if the ITP still stands.
I have packaged 'csup' - a CVSup client written purely in C and have posted a request for a sponsor to debian mentors. The package source is available at http://choralone.org/debian/c/csup/. The client is compatible with existing sup files (and I think with the command line of CVSup).
