Seamonkey packaging should be simpler because mozilla-dev (and probably all other -dev packages) should be dropped, as other packages will use xulrunner.
That doesn't apply in this case, because SM1.0.x is based on the same code as Firefox 1.5.0.x, and neither will be ported over to XULRunner on these branches. I'll look over the diff.
