Maybe... :)
But it's funny, on my system that header file is owned by the package libxss-dev, and packages.d.o says the same thing: http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?version=unstable&arch=i386&case=insensitive&word=scrnsaver.h&searchmode=searchfiles and "apt-cache search x11proto" doesn't show anything... perhaps the package you suggested is one of those not-enough-stable-to-drop-in-testing (but on packages.d.o I've searched in unstable... any suggestion?) > installation was ok, too. > After editing the x_server variable in /etc/qingy/settings to > xserver = "/usr/bin/X" > everything worked. On my system (testing) there's no need to change anything, the default conffile works quite and X starts without any problem. I started working with my trusty developer, for the present the only problem left is a little question about the copyright of the fonts and images included with qingy. I wrote to upstream and I'm waiting for some answer. thanks for your bugreport! ciao Riccardo
