It includes the core functions for image acquiring, processing, interrogation, PIV data validation, post-processing, input/output and memory allocation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) I have package this library and two others that make use of it; gpivtools; a package containing more than 40 command-line programs and scripts and gpiv; a GTK/Gnome GUI program. As upstream author of the package I noticed that compiling and installing of the software by users seems to be an obstacle to use this software. Therefore I am very interested in providing (and maintaining) the binary package. The motivation fo rchoosing Debian is because I am convinced that Debian is the most reliable GNU/Linux distro available, regarding from a technological point of view and, most of all, because of its open-source and open-minded policy, without depending on corporate interests.
