* Package name : screenie Version : 1.30.0 Upstream Author : Marc O. Gloor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://freshmeat.net/projects/screenie/ * License : (GPL) Description : terminal screen-session handler Screenie is a small and lightweight GNU screen(1) wrapper that is designed to be a session handler that simplifies the process of administrating detached jobs by providing an interactive menu. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional notes: Some years ago, I wrote a simple screen(1) wrapper for my own that simplifies the process of administrating detached jobs by providing an interactive menu. At the Linuxtag 2004 in Germany, someone asked me to share the script, so I decided to create a tarball, a debian package as well as a freshmeat.net entry. Additionally, rpmforge.net made the package available to Fedora and Redhat users, Gentoo and Suse did the same for their distributions. Since that happended, I regularly receive mails that users like that package (0.8% ranking in 4 months at freshmeat.net). As Debian user, I ask you if somebody is interested to maintain the package also for Debian? Please let me know how I have to change my upstream package to become Debian compliant. Please also note that I do not intend to become a debian package maintainer (lack of time, ressources) Marc O.
