Due to lack of time I am looking for someone to adopt this package. It requires someone competent with Lisp and C. There is quite a bit of assembler and platform specific code, so it is not for the faint of heart. I will be able to give some help to any new maintainer if necessary. Any prospective adopter should probably also adopt libsigsegv-dev which is a build dep of this package, it's very low maintenance however. The package description is: ANSI Common Lisp is a high-level, general-purpose programming language. GNU CLISP is a Common Lisp implementation by Bruno Haible of Karlsruhe University and Michael Stoll of Munich University, both in Germany. It mostly supports the Lisp described in the ANSI Common Lisp standard. It runs on most Unix workstations (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, Tru64, HP-UX, BeOS, NeXTstep, IRIX, AIX and others) and on other systems (Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 95/98/ME) and needs only 4 MB of RAM. . It is Free Software and may be distributed under the terms of GNU GPL, while it is possible to distribute commercial proprietary applications compiled with GNU CLISP. . The user interface comes in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Russian and Danish, and can be changed at run time. GNU CLISP includes an interpreter, a compiler, a debugger, CLOS, MOP, a foreign language interface, sockets, i18n, fast bignums and more. An X11 interface is available through CLX, Garnet, CLUE/CLIO. GNU CLISP runs Maxima, ACL2 and many other Common Lisp packages. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) --------------------------------------- Received: (at 330076-close) by bugs.debian.org; 19 Oct 2005 09:08:46 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 19 02:08:46 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from katie by spohr.debian.org with local (Exim 3.36 1 (Debian)) id 1ES9pt-0000Ek-00; Wed, 19 Oct 2005 02:02:13 -0700 From: Peter Van Eynde <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.56 $ Subject: Bug#330076: fixed in clisp 1:2.35-3 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 19 Oct 2005 02:02:13 -0700 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 Source: clisp Source-Version: 1:2.35-3 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of clisp, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: clisp-dev_2.35-3_i386.deb to pool/main/c/clisp/clisp-dev_2.35-3_i386.deb clisp-doc_2.35-3_all.deb to pool/main/c/clisp/clisp-doc_2.35-3_all.deb clisp_2.35-3.diff.gz to pool/main/c/clisp/clisp_2.35-3.diff.gz clisp_2.35-3.dsc to pool/main/c/clisp/clisp_2.35-3.dsc clisp_2.35-3_i386.deb to pool/main/c/clisp/clisp_2.35-3_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
