Hello Konrad, Thanks for the note on this bug. I'm just now following up on my old bugs in my Debian bugs folder. The bug was originally about mpich's lack of support for fortran 90. Now that gfortran-4.0 is in unstable, I'm reassigning it back to mpich (which I maintain).
