Hello, Well I build the package before checking the ITP list :o) You can find my current package at: ~ http://dyn.twenkill.net/debian/ It's really basic: it copy files and do not configure anything. User need to set o+w to ./config/ and then point his browser to http://host/mediawiki/ where he use the mediawiki installer. Works fine but maybe the whole configuration can be debianized (including database creation).
