Description :

Cal3d is a skeletal based 3d character animation library
written in C++ in a platform-/graphic API-independent way.
It has an unified exporter plugin framework.

The frequency of the releases of cal3d is low (last release is 1 year old).
The CVS version is stable enough for people to depend on it. The idea
of the CVS package is to provide a packaged version of cal3d when the
CVS tree is stable enough to deserve this and that the cal3d authors do
not provide an official release although they could.

A package is already available at
http://download.gna.org/underware/debian/unstable/

 .
   * Michael Koch submit a cal3d10 package for the next stable version of
     the shared library. The -cvs package is for the bleeding edge of
     cal3d. Given the rythm of the cal3d development in the past two years,
     this so called bleeding edge has a stability that is very much
     comparable to the unstable branch of Debian. It would not make sense
     to upload this package to experimental (closes: #278174)
