Here [1] is a wrap-around deb Package of DIBS. It's really just
dependencies and the python pieces. It's ugly and doesn't pass lintian so
it's just a way to do a "dpkg -i" instead of getting the tgz and going
through the installation.
It depends on python2.2 since I wanted to be able to run it under woody
too.
So if anyone wants to go give DIBS a try or continue on from here - there
you are.
I found DIBS 0.91 to be *very* brittle and hard to configure.
