This is a small notification area app to check the status of your GMail account and display if you have any new email. It is inspired by Elias Torres' GTray program for windows. This uses the GNOME libraries but it uses the freedesktop.org standard for tray apps, so it ought to work fine in KDE and other desktops. It is written in Ruby and uses the Ruby GNOME2 bindings. All dependencies are available in Debian testing/unstable. I might package it later, but no time atm. Adriaan
