Upstream version (http://www.bitmover.com/lmbench) is currently 2.0.3 and the Debian package would need to be updated (currently 2.0) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/lmbench/. Announcement is at http://www.bitmover.com/pipermail/lmbench-users/2002-October/000043.html and at sourceforge. Prospective maintainers need to retrieve the new release and update the package. However upstream is not very active, and neither is the mailing list=20 (http://www.bitmover.com/pipermail/lmbench-users/). Also notice that lmbench would need to be built in other arquitectures in= =20 order to make it available in testing. I don't really don't know why its=20 not autobuilt.
