Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name : ed2k-hash Version : 0.3.3-1 Upstream Author : Tim-Philipp M?ller <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://ed2k-tools.sourceforge.net/index.shtml * License : GPL Description : takes a number of files and outputs the corresponding ed2k-links
A command line tool that creates so-called 'ed2k-links' for a given number of specified files, optionally descending into subdirectories ('ed2k-links' are file URIs for the file-sharing program eDonkey2000 that include a compound md4 hash), and/or optionally wrapping html-links around the output. Eventhough I don't use edonkey, the wide availability of ed2k links, provides an easy way of checking your downloaded files against known-good sources. The size of the .deb is just 7 kb and it would be nice if someone could help it get into debian, to ease my life. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.3 Locale: LANG=C
