Also see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=181322, where mdz RFPed helix-dna-{client,producer,server}. HelixPlayer did not exist back then. HelixPlayer (and, partly non-free RealPlayer) are easier scopes, but do you plan to handle any of the other Helix parts? Especially if anyone decides to take up packaging of other Helix DNA pieces, there will have to be collaboration, using same components and all that. I haven't CCed 181322 since I thought that might pollute a bit, but perhaps I should. Wouter van Heyst
