XP is an XML 1.0 parser for Java with specification conformance and high performance design goals. The API of this library provides its own interface and a SAX 1.0 interface. This library is used by a package I'm currently working on (Winie). So I propose to work on this one either. Its license is DFSG compatible and seems to correctly compile and run on Java compiler (Jikes) and virtual machine (Kaffe) available in the main archive.
