Package: wnpp Severity: wishlistAs the tg3 driver is being removed from the debian-supplied kernel, would it not be a good idea to have a tg3(-source?) package in non-free (in the same way as the nvidia packages) for those of us using that network card? I have a very rough version of a package for this, but I am not currently a Debian developer.
(Same would apply for other drivers containing binary-firmware, but separate packaging I would guess)
