The plan when I took it over was to move the code over to Alioth and get a team of people helping with the rulefiles, and a project was setup. Since then though very little has happened, and I think it's probably a good time for me to give this away to somebody who can treat the package as well as it deserves. I request an adopter for the logcheck package - ideally a team. The package description is: Logcheck was part of the Abacus Project of security tools, but this version has been rewritten. . Logcheck helps spot problems and security violations in your logfiles automatically and will send the results to you in e-mail. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.21-4-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C --------------------------------------- Received: (at 244271-close) by bugs.debian.org; 24 Apr 2004 01:08:10 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Apr 23 18:08:10 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BHBeM-0001Fy-00; Fri, 23 Apr 2004 18:08:10 -0700 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BHBYS-0002qj-00; Fri, 23 Apr 2004 21:02:04 -0400 From: Todd Troxell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.49 $ Subject: Bug#244271: fixed in logcheck 1.2.18 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Fri, 23 Apr 2004 21:02:04 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-5.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 10 Source: logcheck Source-Version: 1.2.18 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of logcheck, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: logcheck-database_1.2.18_all.deb to pool/main/l/logcheck/logcheck-database_1.2.18_all.deb logcheck_1.2.18.dsc to pool/main/l/logcheck/logcheck_1.2.18.dsc logcheck_1.2.18.tar.gz to pool/main/l/logcheck/logcheck_1.2.18.tar.gz logcheck_1.2.18_all.deb to pool/main/l/logcheck/logcheck_1.2.18_all.deb logtail_1.2.18_all.deb to pool/main/l/logcheck/logtail_1.2.18_all.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
